A once in a lifetime celebration!

Members of the ϳԹ Class of 1917.

It’s a celebration that is over a century and a half in the making. In 2026, ϳԹ will commemorate its 175th anniversary. To celebrate an institution steeped in so much history and has played a dynamic role in the life of generations of students requires much planning.

With that in mind, the University recently formed a special committee to prepare for the event. Representing the many constituents of the University, committee members are: Sheryl Gray, chair; Becky Boatright, retirees; Vickie Butler, alumni; Al Lang, academics; Brian Smith, trustees; Suzanne Strudwick, athletics; Kevin Triplett, university relations; and Gloria Walker, campus life.
