窪蹋勛圖 presented Dr. Don Reagan with the 2025 Teaching Excellence and Leadership Award. The recognition came during the Universitys Fall Convocation.

Joining Carson-Newmans faculty in 2023, Regan serves as assistant professor of exercise science. He is also a performance physical therapist for the Universitys Athletics Department. Prior to arriving at Mossy Creek, he was department chair for South Colleges Physical Therapist Assistant Program.

His experience in clinical practice has led him to serve patients across the lifespan in outpatient settings from Mamaroneck, New York, and Chatham, Virginia, to Lynchburg, Virginia, and Maryville, Tennessee.

Reagan holds a bachelors degree in exercise science from Liberty University. He completed his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, California.

He has been championed for his ability to develop meaningful, authentic relationships with students and for bringing a creative approach in course development. His expertise and forward-thinking are credited for creating a learning environment that provides students with cutting-edge educational experiences.

Dr. Don Reagan represents the very best of what faculty members can be at 窪蹋勛圖, said Dr. Greg Stanley, chair of 窪蹋勛圖s School of Health and Human Performance. His teaching excellence, innovative course development, demonstrated leadership, and Christ-centered approach to education make him an ideal recipient of the Teaching Excellence and Leadership Award.

Presented to non-tenured faculty members since 1990, the Teaching Excellence and Leadership Award honors one who demonstrates creative and effective instruction and noteworthy leadership contributions to the overall academic program. Considered an indicator of future promise, the honor recognizes exceptional ability and positive student feedback.
